Offshore pump - all known releases after 2.0

Okay, while I do play a modded version of the latest build, this is something I came across when K2 was updated to 2.0. Simply because I stopped playing vanilla a long time ago, and when I ran into this issue, I just fixed it ingame....

Here goes.

I have several mods enabled, but specifically 2 of them are worth mentioning, since they affect what items and machines i have at my disposal.
Krastorio 2 (2.0) and water fill.

I disabled water for the maps I play, because I hate having to make 2 gazillion landfills. So, I use waterfill, which enables me to put down a small 3x2 water source, when i need it.

HOWEVER! I can also ghost in an offshore waterpump at ANY location. I dont need to drop in water first. Which is pretty cool and all that, if it wasnt for the fact, that the pump never pumps up any water. Not even when powered up.

The ingame solution is to remove and place a new pump (the same one will do just fine, as long as I pick it up first). What makes the pump go middle finger on me, is beyond my understanding.


This could be because I have the water fill mod installed, could be something else.


Want to replicate it? install those 2 mods, make a world without water except starter area, do the research, place ghosted waterpump and have bots build it, and watch the pump that wont work, untill you pick it up and place it again.


EDIT: Sorry, should have mentioned, that I have to shift+left click the ghosting for it to "work".

This sounds like a bug with the waterfill mod, you need to post it there.
